8-21-20: To Neverwinter

Well Berúthiel, I've done my good deed for the day. Bacon was indeed on the menu in the morning at the Aldarleaf farm. Hana, Oskar, and I (despite the dwarf claiming ignorance) remarked on the uncanny nature of our dreamed battle with goblins, though they seemed to shrug off the incident...is it that common for this lot to experience these sort of events? I managed to help myself to the only keto-friendly component of breakfast, outmaneuvering Oskar and prompting Hana to attempt to flavor his breakfast beets and Brussels sprouts via magical means. There's something about his demeanor that I find...pitiable. Despite his gruff, "dwarf may care" appearance, and the near endless banter and belittling these three share with one another...I suspect its their manner of showing affection? (I'd as lief blame current Sword Coast culture's toxic masculinity!) But I'd hazard a guess this dwarf may harbor some insecurity, self-doubt, self-loathing...something. Not that...

8-14-20: The Board is Set

Despite my vows in divine service, I'll never  be one to get used to direct revelations from the gods...yet here I was again in a dream, but this time...a shared dream? At Aldarleaf farm, the elf had a dream in which Oskar (the dwarf) and I accompanied him through a dragonchess board, and played out first a tactical exercise in front of the banners of our deities (Oghma, Moradin, and the Red Knight, naturally), then a battle with a goblinoid horde. This elf--Hana--is a powerful mage indeed--he is skillful and shrewd in combat. And while Oskar seemed to care more for himself above all, he did render aid both to the mage and to me--interposing his shield on more than one occasion to throw off our opponents. I hope the halfling holds up in a fight as well--we'll need great strength if Iarno has indeed gone rogue. I don't understand how these dreams...shared hallucinations?...work, but at least let me pen down the highlights: Animating from stone, the goblins established a pick...

8-2-20 Frostfall in Phandalin

What in the Nine Hells?! Berúthiel and I made our way to Phandalin early last night to find a f-cking WHITE DRAGON aloft in the sky! I was at a loss: what could this be about? ...And that...shite-kicking halfling is the one My Lady trusts with her graces?? Perrin Aldarleaf by name. (Ungrateful bastard!) He tried to blow me off without so much as a thankyouverymuch! That is...until I called him a coward. That struck a nerve it seemed. But to think, he wouldn't even swear  or anything at first. Out of avarice? Resorted to holding him in place magically to force something, anything  to transpire, I did! Then there was his armored dwarf friend...there's an interesting one. Dropped his knickers, he did! To be fair, I asked him to break my concentration, but for the love of the gods...a little forward for a first date, innit? And I'm left pondering, are these men heroes? They certainly think themselves so. Still, Sheriff Hallwinter intervened in due time, and mentioned my quest f...
